Pastor Neil Jasperse
I have served churches in California, Illinois, and Michigan. Over three years ago I felt called into transitional ministry, helping churches going through a major transition in their life and ministry. In that role I have served churches in Gallup, New Mexico and then Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. My wife, Ruth, and I arrived in Nashville in late August to serve during an important transitional time at Faith Church. We have just celebrated the long and faithful gospel ministry of Pastor Jerry Hoek who recently retired. Now we are engaged in reflecting on our past ministry, addressing present challenges, focusing on our vision, keeping in the step with the Spirit to build up our church, and discerning the Spirit's leading as we seek a new pastor. I’m impressed by the strengths of Faith Church: its biblical convictions, its dedicated people, its fine facility, and the range of activities going on here all through the week. I look forward to vibrant ministry together. Along with pastoral ministry I enjoy reading, music, sports, hiking, and offering the kids a candy after the worship hour.
